    Abstract: PURPOSE: A hybrid bioreactor for the cell culture is provided, thereby simultaneously applying a shear strain for stimulating the cell proliferation and a compressive strain for stimulating the cell differentiation to cells, so that the cell proliferation and the cell differentiation can be simultaneously stimulated in the bioreactor. CONSTITUTION: A hybrid bioreactor for the cell culture comprises numerous culture vessel assemblies(100); a compressive strain motor(5); a ball screw(90) connected to the compressive strain motor(5) to be moved together; a pressurizing plate(60) connected to the ball screw(90) to move vertically, and having numerous compressive strain supports(80) fixing the lower portion of each culture vessel assembly(100); a lower supporting plate(20) fixing the lower portion of each culture vessel assembly(100) and having numerous lower supporting blocks(70) with a gear tooth on the circumference surface; a shear strain motor(25); and a power transferring unit for transferring the rotation power of the shear strain motor(25) to the numerous lower supporting blocks(70).
