    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for detecting damage of a membrane module by injecting fluorescence particle without attachment and detachment of a separate membrane is provide. CONSTITUTION: A method for detecting damage of a membrane module comprises: a step of preparing fluorescence particle of 0.5-1.5 um from a silica; a step of injecting fluorescence particle into the membrane module which is used in waste water disposal process at a concentration of 0mg/ml to 0.1mg/ml; a step of operating a pump when the membrane module is damaged; a step of performing digital imaging; and a step of determining from the digital image to color-developed part and non-developed part.
