Abstract:
본 발명은 포일의 배면측에 압전구동기를 설치하여 베어링의 하중지지능력을 높이고, 임계속도에서의 진동을 제어하여 베어링의 불안정성을 제거시킨 압전구동기를 이용한 스마트 포일 저널 베어링에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은, 베어링 하우징(30)의 내주면에 다수의 다엽형 포일(20) 또는 하나의 탑포일(40)을 갖고 공기피막을 형성시켜 회전축을 지지하는 포일 저널베어링으로서, 상기 다엽형 포일(20) 또는 탑포일(40)의 배면측에는, 상기 회전축(10)의 임계속도시 강성과 감쇠를 부가할 수 있도록 베어링 하우징(30)의 내주면에 다수의 압전구동장치를 추가로 분포 설치하되, 상기 압전구동장치는, 상기 베어링 하우징(30)의 내주면에 다수개로 형성 분포된 압전구동기 홈 (34)에 삽입되고 적어도 하나의 압전구동소자를 갖는 압전구동기(100)와; 상기 압전구동기(100)와 상기 압전구동기 홈(34)과의 사이에 각기 개재되어 강성(stiffness)을 부여하는 탄성스프링(110)을 포함하여 상기 압전구동기(102)에 필요한 전압을 인가시켜 베어링에 강성과 댐핑을 부가한 것을 특징으로 한다.

PURPOSE: A smart foil journal bearing using piezoelectric actuator is provided to improve load carrying capacity, to control range of critical speed on axial rotary movement and to remove instability over critical speed. CONSTITUTION: A bearing includes a plurality of piezoelectric actuating devices distributed and installed on an inner circumferential surface of a bearing housing(30) behind multileaf foils(20) or top foils(40) and including piezoelectric actuators(100) inserted to piezoelectric actuator grooves(34) formed on the inner circumferential surface of the bearing housing and having more than one piezoelectric actuating elements(102a,102b,102c,102d) and elastic springs(110) interposed between the piezoelectric actuators and the piezoelectric actuator grooves to give stiffness so as to impress voltage to the piezoelectric actuators and provide stiffness and damping to the bearing.

PURPOSE: An integral type multileaf/bump air foil journal bearing and manufacturing method of multileaf/bump foil are provided to improve load carrying capacity and dust removing performance at high speed. CONSTITUTION: A bearing has a plurality of key slots formed on an inner circumferential surface of a bearing housing(12) at regular intervals and an integral type multileaf/bump foil(20) installed on the key slots, including a bump type foil part(21) with high stiffness, multileaf type foil part(22) flexible and extended from the bump type foil part and spacer keys(23) formed on an end of the bump type foil part and inserted to the key slots to improve performance carrying axial load and removing dust.

PURPOSE: An air foil bearing having a viscoelastic foil is provided to allow a rotating member to rotate at an increased R.P.M by damping vibration generated from the rotating member. CONSTITUTION: An air foil bearing includes a bearing housing(10a), a top foil(10e), a viscoelastic foil(10d), a bump foil(10c) and a core foil(10b). An air lubricant layer(10g) is positioned between the top foil and a rotating shaft(10f). The top foil(10e) is formed at an upper surface thereof with a solid lubricant coating surface so that a friction between the top foil(10e) and the rotating shaft(10f) is reduced when the rotating shaft(10f) is rotated. One end of the top foil(10e) is supported by the bearing housing(10a) through a pin(10h). The viscoelastic foil(10d) is installed at a lower portion of the top foil(10e).

PURPOSE: A semi-active damper foil journal bearing with improved load carrying capacity and stability is provided to improve stiffness against axial load carrying force and damping performance. CONSTITUTION: A bearing includes a plurality of dampers(20) distributed and installed behind multileaf foils(14) or top foils and comprising damping pins inserted to a plurality of pin grooves formed on an inner circumferential surface of a bearing housing(12) to damp and elastic springs interposed between the damping pins and the pin grooves to increase stiffness to increase stiffness and damping performance on rotation of a rotary axis.

PURPOSE: A system and method for controlling bearing torque of foil bearing supporting rotary axis are provided to prevent increase of bearing torque of the foil bearing by preventing contact between a foil of the foil bearing and a journal at low speed. CONSTITUTION: A system(100) includes a foil bearing(20) placed to support a rotary axis(10); a hydrostatic gas bearing(30) placed to support the rotary axis; a gas storage(40) storing compressed gas; a pipe(50) supplying compressed gas from the gas storage to the hydrostatic gas bearing; a valve(60) placed on the pipe to open and close; a sensor(70) detecting rotating velocity of the rotary axis; and a control device(80) receiving signal indicating rotating velocity of the rotary axis from the sensor and opening the valve to supply compressed air from the gas storage to the hydrostatic gas bearing if the rotating velocity of the rotary axis is under fixed value and closing the valve to intercept supply of gas from the gas storage to the hydrostatic gas bearing if the rotating velocity of the rotary axis is over fixed value.

PURPOSE: A turbo-charging system is provided to simplify the structure of the system by integrating the generator and turbo-charger, while reducing turbo lag. CONSTITUTION: A turbo-charging system comprises a turbo-charger(10), wherein the turbo-charger includes a rotating shaft(12); a turbine wheel(15) coupled to an end of the rotating shaft, which rotates by the exhaust gas emitted from an internal combustion engine; a compressor impeller(16) coupled to the other end of the rotating shaft, which rotates together with the turbine wheel so as to suck and compress air and transfers the compressed air to the internal combustion engine; and a main body embedded with the rotating shaft, turbine wheel and the compressor impeller. The main body includes a generator(50) arranged in the main body, wherein the generator is constituted by a rotor which rotates by the rotating shaft and a stator arranged at the outer surface of the rotor.
