    Abstract: PURPOSE: A microwave dielectric ceramic composition for low temperature firing contains an appropriate amount of additives such as B2O3, Sb2O3 and Y2O3 to obtain a dense sintered compact even at a low temperature of 1200°C and has good microwave characteristics. CONSTITUTION: A microwave dielectric ceramic composition for low temperature firing comprises (Mg,Ca)TiO3 as a principal component, and additives such as B2O3, Sb2O3 and Y2O3 so as to obtain a dense sintered compact even at a low temperature of 1200°C and has good microwave characteristics, wherein 0.2-0.5 wt.% of B2O3 is added.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A low temperature sintering microwave dielectric composition prepared by mixing a proper sintering additive is provided which can be sintered at a temperature of about 1200°C. CONSTITUTION: A composition comprises (Mg0.93Ca0.07)TiO3, 0.2 to 0.4% by weight of B2O3 and 0.4 to 1.2% by weight of MnO2 as an additive. In this way, baking can be performed at a low temperature, and further an excellent microwave characteristic can be obtained even by baking at a low temperature. In a (Mg0.93Ca0.07)TiO3 microwave dielectric composition, it is possible to sinter at a relatively low temperature and maintain excellent microwave dielectric characteristics by using B2O3 and MnO2.
