Abstract: PURPOSE: A head mounted display type laser stimulating system for optogenetic retinal prosthesis is provided to be used as a vision assistant device. CONSTITUTION: A head mounted display type laser stimulating system for optogenetic retinal prosthesis a laser source(10), a beam shaping part(20), a polarization beam splitter(30), a video camera(60), a reflective spatial light modulator(40), an imaging optic(70), and a side frame. The laser source stimulates retina cells. The beam shaping part makes uniform laser beam. The polarization beam splitter polarizes the laser beam. The video camera transmits an image to the reflective spatial light modulator. The reflective spatial light modulator reflects the polarized laser beam to the polarization beam splitter. The imaging optic irradiates the reflected laser beam to an eye. The side frame is integrally coupled with both ends of the main frame. [Reference numerals] (AA) Optical gene inserted eye
