Abstract: PURPOSE: A buck rectifier is provided to reduce switching loss and allow for an operation at a high frequency by performing a soft switching during switching turn on/off operation. CONSTITUTION: A buck rectifier comprises signal generating units(24,26,28,29) for generating switching signals; a switching unit having a plurality of switching elements switched in response to the switching signals; a transformer unit having a primary side connected to the switching unit, and which receives an output from the switching unit at a secondary side of the transformer unit; a saturable inductor and a blocking capacitor connected in serial between the switching unit and the primary side of the transformer unit; and a rectifier unit(22) for receiving outputs from the secondary side of the transformer unit and outputting a DC output signal. The switching signals are generated in response to the three-phase AC input signal and DC output signal, and the switching unit is zero-current switched by the saturable inductor.

Abstract: 본 발명은 3상 교류 입력 신호를 입력받아 직류 출력 신호를 발생시키기 위한 정류 장치에 관한 것으로서 포화 인덕터를 이용하여 주 스위칭 소자에 0 전압 0 전류의 소프트 스위칭 방식을 구현함으로써 효율이 개선되었다. 본 정류 장치는 다수의 스위칭 신호를 발생시키기 위한 신호 발생 수단(24, 26, 28, 29)과, 상기 다수의 스위칭 신호에 응답하여 각각 스위칭되는 다수의 스위칭 소자를 구비하는 스위칭부(32)와, 1차측과 2차측을 구비하고, 상기 1차측이 상기 스위칭부에 접속되어 있고, 상기 1차측에 접속된 스위칭부로부터의 출력을 2차측으로 전달하기 위한 변압 수단과, 상기 스위칭부와 상기 변압 수단의 상기 1차측 사이에 직렬로 연결된 포화 인덕터(L
s ) 및 차단 커패시터(C
b )와, 상기 변압 수단의 2차측으로부터의 출력을 입력받아 상기 직류 출력 신호를 출력하는 정류 수단을 포함하며, 상기 다수의 스위칭 신호는 상기 3상 교류 입력 신호 및 상기 직류 출력 신호에 응답하여 발생되고, 상기 포화 인덕터에 의해 상기 스위칭부가 0 전류 스위칭된다.
