Abstract:
PURPOSE: A zinc dimer of amino acid Schiff bases which selectively senses copper ions in a water solution is provided to ensure excellent solubility and to sense copper ions at physiologically stable pH concentration. CONSTITUTION: A dimer compound contains amino acid Schiff bases which sense copper ions in a water solution. The dimer compound is [Zn_2(r,s-lysH)_2(u-OAc)_2] or [Zn_2(slysH)_2(NO_3)_2]. The dimer compound has a structure in which a functional group is substituted. A core metal of the dimer compound is a transition metal, Zn. A method for preparing the dimer compound comprises: a step of adding Zn(OAc)_2·2H_2O(1.09 g, 5.00 mmol) to a salicyladehyde(0.52 mL, 5.00 mmol)-dissolved methanol solution; a step of stirring at room temperature for 30 minutes and adding D/L-lysine chloric acid(0.913 g, 5.00 mmol) solution into a reactant; a step of adding sodium hydroxide(0.20 g, 5.00 mmol) solution and sodium acetate(0.41 g, 5.00 mmol) solution at pH 7-8; a step of stirring for 12 hours; and a step of filtering yellow precipitate and drying at room temperature. .
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method for preparing a hybrid using mechanochemical method of silica and Schiff base compounds is provided to control release of Zn^2+. CONSTITUTION: A hybrid material of [rlysH2] and silica is used for sensing copper or zinc ions in an aqueous solution. A hybrid material of silica and amino acid schiff base compounds of [Zn2(slysH)2Cl2] or [Zn2(rslysH)2(u-OAc)2] is used for sensing the copper ions in the aqueous solution. The base compounds have a functional group-substituted structure. A method for preparing the hybrid material of amino acid Schiff base compounds and silica comprises: a step of mixing silica gel and pulverizing; a step of extracting and removing the amino acid Schiff base compounds by distilled water; and a step of removing a solvent using a vacuum pump.
