Abstract: 본 발명은 IPTV 서비스 오버레이 네트워크 시스템과 연동하여 홈 네트워크간에서 발생하는 P2P 기술을 이용하는 서비스에 대하여 전송 제어와 동기화를 통해 사용자 설정에 맞는 서비스 관리를 가능하도록 하는 서비스 오버레이 네트워크 시스템을 이용한 자원 정책 처리 장치에 관한 것이다.
이를 위하여 본 발명의 실시 예에 따른 본 발명의 실시 예에 따른 서비스 오버레이 네트워크 시스템을 이용한 자원 정책 처리 장치는 상기 홈 네트워크에서 발생되는 자원을 상기 단말의 특성과 환경에 따라 서비스 품질을 보장하도록 예약, 수정 또는 해지하기 위한 명령을 제공하고, 상기 자원을 예약할 때 멀티스트림에 대한 전송 제어 및 동기화를 수행하며, 상기 홈 인터페이스 장치는 상기 자원 정책 처리 장치의 예약, 수정 또는 해지 명령에 따라 상기 홈 단말에 자원을 제어할 수 있다.-

Abstract: PURPOSE: A resource policy processing apparatus and a method thereof using a service overlay network system are provided to provide a P2P transmission control by setting a minimum transmission bandwidth via a resource policy management server within an IPTV service overlay network system and a home network. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of home IPTV networks(100) are connected to an IP network. The home IPTV networks include a home resource policy server(110), a digital home interface apparatus(120) and a home IPTV terminal(130). An IPTV service overlay network system(200) connects an IPTV service control function part(300) to the home IPTV network. IPTV content and applications(400) include a plurality of IPTV content servers(410). The IPTV content and applications include an IPTV application processing part(420) which consists of a plurality of IPTV application services.

Abstract: 본 발명은 홈 네트워크에서 사용자의 다양한 서비스 요청이나 사용자 기기의 종류에 상응되는 자원제어 정책으로 서비스를 제공하여 QoS가 보장되도록 하는 기술에 관한 것이다. 이러한 본 발명은, 서비스 제어 기능부로부터 전달받은 정보를 바탕으로 서비스 요청을 한 사용자 세션 ID에 맞는 자원을 보장하기 위해 그 정보를 분석하고, 그 분석 결과를 자원정책 처리부에 전달하는 서비스 분석 처리부와; 자원정보 전달부로부터 입력받은 자원 정보를 이용하여 QoS 보장 정책을 결정하고, 홈 네트워크 자원 관리 에이전트에 QoS 보장 명령을 출력하여 QoS 보장이 이루어지면, 서비스 제어 기능부에 QoS 보장 완료 메시지를 출력하는 자원정책 처리부와; 현재 홈 네트워크 내·외부에서 사용되는 자원에 대한 사용 정보를 확인함과 아울러 홈 네트워크 자원현황에 따라 자원 가용 여부를 결정하고, 목표 QoS를 요청한 사용자가 실제로 할당 받을 수 있는 대역폭을 결정한 후 홈 네트워크 내 자원정보를 서비스 정책 및 자원 정보 저장소로부터 읽어와 상기 자원정책 처리부에 출력하는 자원정보 전달부와; 소정의 주기로 상기 홈 네트워크 자원 관리 에이전트와 연결되어, 홈 네트워크 내·외부에서 사용되는 자원을 수집하고, 그 수집된 자원을 상기 서비스 정책 및 자원 정보 저장소 저장하는 자원정보 수집부로 홈 네트워크 자원정책 서버를 구축하는 것에 의해 달성된다.
