Abstract: PURPOSE: A passive type injection tank, an injecting method, and a safety injection tank thereof are provided to prevent the excessive pressure drop inside a safety injection tank by using the water which is in a saturated state. CONSTITUTION: A passive type injection tank injects the cooling water to the outside due to a difference between external pressure and inner pressure. The passive type injection tank is filled with nitrogen. A container(4) is arranged on the upper part of the passive type injection tank. The container stores the water(3) for supplementing the inner pressure which diminishes according to the external injection of the cooling water. The container has a dual structure of an external heat insulation material and an inner insulation material. The inner insulation material is aerosol. The external heat insulation material is ceramics.

Abstract: 본발명에따른피동형주입탱크는유체의외부주입에따라감소되는탱크내부의압력을보충하기위한액체를포함하며, 본발명에따른피동형주입탱크는종래의피동형주입탱크에비하여보다많은양의유체를포함할수 있다. 즉, 안전주입탱크에본 발명이적용되는경우, 비슷한크기의안전주입탱크에서도보다많은양의비상노심냉각수를주입할수 있다. 즉, 기존의안전주입탱크와크기, 용량이같음에도불구하고포화상태의물을이용한안전주입탱크를사용하면더 높은유량으로, 더많은양의비상노심냉각수주입이가능하다. 더나아가본 발명에따른피동형유체주입방법은압력강하비율을경감시키는효과가있다. 따라서, 실제유체주입시압력강하폭이감소함에따라동일한유체주입량, 예를들면안전주입탱크의경우동일한비상노심냉각수주입량에대해필요한기체체적이감소된다. 그결과, 안전주입탱크의크기가줄어들어제작에소모되는비용이감소된다.
