Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for compressed sensing with joint sparsity and an apparatus thereof are provided to partially and complementarily restore a support by using a CS-MMV(Compressed Sensing-Multiple Measurement Vector) access method. CONSTITUTION: A signal subspace estimation operation(410) extracts signal subspace information from a plurality of measured value vectors of jointly sparse signals. The signal subspace estimation operation receives arguments. A partial support restoration operation(420) calculates a subset having one or more joint supports by using the plurality of measured value vectors. Generated signal subspace information can be used. A complementary support restoration operation(430) calculates one or more additional elements of the joint support by using the signal subspace information and a partial support subset.
