Abstract: A medium circulating combustion furnace using a circulation layer of a dual path is provided to sufficiently secure reaction of medium particles by increasing the stay time of the medium particles in an air reactor. A medium circulating combustion furnace using a circulation layer of a dual path includes a bubble flow layer air reactor(22), a bubble flow layer reduction reactor(21), two medium circulating ascent pipes(23), a non-mechanical valve(24), and a cyclone(25). The bubble flow layer air reactor provides a heat radiating reaction region for oxidizing a metal. The bubble flow layer reduction reactor provides a heat absorbing reaction region for reducing a metal oxidation material. Solid particles are circulated between the two bubble flow layers and are moved to another reaction region.
