Abstract:
PURPOSE: A head device of a data recording/reproducing apparatus for a high density optical recording medium and method of controlling light beam using the device are provided to stably control a servo and increase a recording/reproducing speed, thereby increasing a recording density of the optical recording medium. CONSTITUTION: The head device of a data recording/reproducing apparatus for a high density optical recording medium comprises an optical recording medium(11); a light source(1) for generating a light beam(14); a lens for collecting the light beam on the optical recording medium; a first piezoelectric device deformed responding to an applied electric signal to move the lens in an optical axis direction by a very small displacement; a second piezoelectric device deformed responding to the applied electric signal to move the lens in a radial direction of the optical recording medium by the very small displacement. The head device further comprises a collimating lens(2) disposed between the light source and the lens to converting the divergent beam irradiated from the light source into a parallel light and advancing to the lens; and an optical detector(13) for converting a reflecting light from the optical recording medium into an electric signal.

PURPOSE: A parabolic lens with super high resolution is provided to widen convergent angle of light and increases refractive index of a medium at which a spot is formed when the wavelength of light and diameter of incident beam are uniform, thereby increasing a recording density in the recording or reproducing of data, increasing an observation resolution of a microscope, and reducing a semiconductor line width by applying to a semiconductor lithography. CONSTITUTION: In a parabolic lens with super high resolution for focusing light input from the outside, one side of the lens is flat and the other side is curved in a parabolic form. The curved surface of the lens other than the apex is reflection-coated. When parallel light is incident on the flat surface of the lens, the light is reflected several times inside the lens and then transmitted to an object outside the lens through the apex of the lens at which there is no coat.

PURPOSE: A device and a method for assembling and evaluating 2-group lenses are provided to analyze phase information for interference patterns captured by a CCD camera to align optical axes of 2-group lenses, thereby speedily carrying out the assembling and evaluating of the 2-group lenses. CONSTITUTION: A device for assembling and evaluating 2-group lenses includes a base for disposing a second lens(12) and mounted with a beam generator(30) at a side of the base for generating laser beams. A beam splitter(40) is disposed in the light advancing direction of the beam generator. A reference mirror(50) is disposed in the advancing direction of one of the splitted beams. A folding mirror(60) is disposed in the advancing direction of another splitted beam. A piezo-electric driver(52) is connected to the reference mirror for the micro control of a distance between the reference mirror and the beam splitter. The beam reflected to the folding mirror is incident to an optical axis(z) of the second lens fixed to the base. Another folding mirror is disposed to a bottom surface of the second lens for obtaining a beam reflected from a detection surface. A CCD camera(70) is disposed around the beam splitter for photographing the interference pattern of the beams coming from the reference and folding mirrors. A computer(80) electrically connected to the CCD camera analyzes phase information from image information input to the CCD camera and determines the assembling work if the phase information is in a reference value range. If the phase information is beyond the reference value range, the computer drives a series of programs to drive an xy-stage/z-axis drivers for controlling the position of the first lens and the distance between the first and second lenses.
