    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for assuming a focus point of eyes is provided to precisely assume the focus point of eyes in a simple manner without requiring distance from an object to eyes of a user. CONSTITUTION: An infrared LED(18) is installed at the center of a lens(17) of a camera(16). A plurality of infrared LEDs(11,12,13,14) is attached to each edge of a monitor(10). A CCD camera(16) is provided to assume bright points reflected from eyes. In order to assume a focus point(15) of a user(19), an image capturing device is provided in a computer. The infrared LEDs(11,12,13,14) of the monitor(10) and the infrared LED(18) installed at the center of the lens(17) are sequentially turned on by using parallel ports of the computer. The bright points are detected through a relatively simple image processing process.
