Abstract: PURPOSE: A far-infrared ray rice cooker device and a cooking method using the far-infrared ray are provided to omit Teflon coating and remove harmful elements because of the whole rice cooker is cooked by far-infrared radiation with uniformed temperature. CONSTITUTION: A far-infrared ray rice cooker device includes an external case, a partition member, a rice delivering unit(200), a rice washing unit(400), a suction/drain unit(500), and a far-infrared ray unit. A partition member includes a first, a second blocking unit. The first blocking unit divides upper and lower space part inside the external case and isolates the space unit. The second blocking unit divides the upper space part. The rice delivering unit transfers rice to rice pot located in lower space part. The rice washing unit sprays the high-pressure water jet sprayed from a nozzle to a rice of the rice cooker. The suction/drain unit suctions and drains water including floating matter washed by the rice washing unit. The far-infrared unit radiates far-infrared ray to the rice cooker.
