An agent device(300) for a broadband situation recognition service includes a situation data collector(310), a broadband situation monitoring engine(320), and a service agent unit(330). The situation data collector receives the broadband situation information from an additional broadband situation information provider, and the broadband situation monitoring engine performs the monitoring for the received broadband situation information. The service agent unit receives a request on broadband situation recognition service provision from the additional broadband situation information provider and transmits the monitoring results to the service provider and a client.
