PURPOSE: A resource allocation method in a wireless network is provided to adaptively allocate resources according to the conversion of topology in each node. CONSTITUTION: When a node is added to existed topology, the node receives a beacon message from a neighbor node(S800,S810). The node competes with the neighbor nodes for reserving a beacon slot(S820). When a collision is generated, the node notifies the collision during a beacon transmission section(S830,S840). When the collision is not generated, the node selects the beacon slot(S850). The node notifies the selected beacon slot to one hop neighbor node(S860).
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A topology control method in a wireless network is provided to simultaneously reduce the energy consumption and interference of a node by determining optimal transmission power by determining the optimal number of neighbor nodes. CONSTITUTION: Interference for interference nodes is calculated using present transmission power(S1050). A candidate neighbor node is selected from a candidate neighbor node group according to a distance(S1060). Candidate transmission power satisfied with a target SINR(Signal-to-Interference plus Noise Ratio) of the candidate neighbor node is allocated to the node(S1070). Interference generated by the candidate transmission power for an interference node is calculated(S1080). When a formula(Iic >= Ii) is satisfied, the node is included in the candidate neighbor node group(S1090,S1100).

PURPOSE: A group cooperation transmission method at an ad hoc network is provided to select cooperation node among transmitting or receiving node group under a specific rules. CONSTITUTION: Terminals within the ad-hoc network calculate the weighted value based on the group separation possibility. The terminals within the ad-hoc network share the weighting value. A transmission node selects the cooperative node of the transmission group and cooperation nodes of the receiving group based on the weighting value(S41). The transmitting node divides the transmitting data into the number of source nodes. The transmitting node transmits the divided transmitting data to the cooperation nodes of the transmitting group(S42).
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for retransmitting data of a wireless local area network system using a visible light communication is provided to rapidly retransmit data in an instantaneous data transmitting/receiving fail between an access point and a mobile node. A mobile node searches a fast feedback slot allocated for retransmission information in a frame in case an instantaneous data transmitting/receiving fail is generated(330). The mobile node selects one mini slot among mini slots included in the fast feedback slot in case the fast feedback slot exists(350). The mobile node transmits a fast feedback message including information for retransmitting with a selected mini slot to the access point(360).
Abstract:
A method for steadily changing a duplex mode in a wireless lan system using visible light communications is provided to support a mobile node using full-duplex method and half-duplex method. It determines whether the change of the duplex mode is necessary by comparing bit error probability with predetermined target bit error probability when transmitting between an access point and a mobile node(401-404). If the change of the duplex mode is needed, the specific time clot within a frame is allocated as a test slot(405-412). The test slot is changed in a new transmitting/receiving method if the bit error probability is lower than the target error probability(413-418).
Abstract:
A method for displaying the state of a mobile node in a wireless LAN system using visible light communications and an apparatus therefore are provided to allocate the state display resource of a mobile node for handshaking and to improve the transmission of uplink data. A time slot in an access point is allocated as unassigned slot for state indication of a handshake node. The time slot is allocated to a retention slot capable of data transfer of uplink. The unassigned slot or the visible light signal indicating the state information of the handshaking mobile node in the retention slotted section is transmitted. The visible light signal indicating the state information of the mobile node indicates the status information of the mobile node.
