Abstract: PURPOSE: An ultra-small microphone-based hearing supporting apparatus is provided to support auditorily handicapped person to visually recognize sounds. CONSTITUTION: A sound receiver(100) receives a sound signal using a plurality of ultra-small microphones and amplifies the received sound signal to a pre-set level. A sound source tracking unit(200) receives the received sound signal from the sound receiver and converts the received sound signal into a digital signal. The delay time of the received sound signal is calculated to tract the direction of sound source. An application unit(300) receives and analyzes the tracking result and visually displays the direction and the power of the sound source.
