    Abstract: PURPOSE: An automatic window system is provided to maintain a pleasant indoor environment without the operation of a user by automatically opening or closing a window based on indoor temperature and humidity, indoor air contamination by carbon dioxide, and rainfall. CONSTITUTION: An automatic window system comprises a sensor unit (110) and a window opening and closing unit (120). The sensor unit comprises a temperature and humidity sensor (111), a carbon dioxide sensor (112), and a rainfall sensor (113). The sensor unit senses temperatures, humidity, rainfall, and the concentration of carbon dioxide and transmits the data. The window opening and closing unit comprises a communications unit (121), a central control unit (122), and a motor (123). The window opening and closing unit opens a window by operating the motor when the data is in a predetermined range or closes the window by operating the motor when the data is not in the predetermined range.
