    Abstract: PURPOSE: A glass inspection apparatus is provided to prevent damage to a transferred glass substrate by spraying precise air-pressure and the sagging of the central portion of a glass substrate. CONSTITUTION: A glass inspection apparatus comprises a table(10), a floating stage unit(100), a measurement unit(30), a gantry unit, and a display unit(50). The floating stage unit is installed on the top of the table. The floating stage unit comprises a plurality of floating stages(20) that transfer a glass substrate(1) from one side to the other side of the table. The measurement unit irradiates a laser beam to the glass substrate transferred through the floating stage unit in order to measure the flatness of the glass substrate. The gantry unit is supported on both sides of the table and transfers the measurement unit in the traverse direction of the table. The display unit indicates the flatness of the glass substrate measured by the measurement unit on a screen.
