Abstract: PURPOSE: An automatic fire-extinguishing device is provided, which can use the materials which are stable thermodynamically, has simple design, and minimizes malfunction or breakdown. CONSTITUTION: An automatic fire-extinguishing device using the gas hydrate includes: a storage(110) in which the gas hydrate is stored; and a nozzle unit(120) squirting the dissociated gas from the gas hydrate saved in the storage to the fire occurring place while being connected to the storage. The storage is maintained at the constant temperature and pressure that the gas hydrate is not dissociated before fire breaks out. The gas hydrate(111) is dissociated from the storage by rise of the temperature and pressure of the storage after fire breaks out.
