Abstract: An apparatus for automatically notifying an operation state of a cold storage and controlling the cold storage is provided to enable a user to monitor the operation state of an overall system from outside by delivering the operation state through a PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network). A cooler, a humidifier, and temperature and humidity sensors are installed in a system(10). A surrounding sensing unit(20) is installed around the system and detects a fire, a blackout, and an intruder. A storage(30) stores data, such as messages, telephone numbers, and abnormal state histories. An input unit(40) enables a user to input the data into the system. An automatic alarm notifier(50) receives various control reference signals from the user and receives various sensor signals to determine a surrounding state. The automatic alarm notifier automatically notifies the surrounding state to a user or a manager through a PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network). When requested, the automatic alarm notifier outputs a current system state history or the abnormal state history.
