    Abstract: PURPOSE: A system and a method for evaluating the soundness of a power transformer are provided to apply differentiated replacement periods to power transformers by estimating the performances and aging degrees of the power transformers. CONSTITUTION: A system for evaluating the soundness of a power transformer comprises an information input module(100), a key factor analysis module(200), and a soundness evaluation module(300). The information input module is input with information corresponding to a service life diagnosis factor and a state diagnosis factor. The key factor analysis module analyzes key factors corresponding to position-environment factors, driving states, and inspection results of power transformers based on the input information. The soundness evaluation module evaluates the soundness of each power transformer using the key factor analysis results and weighted values of the key factors affecting the state of the power transformer and determines whether to replace the power transformer based on the evaluated soundness.
