Abstract: PURPOSE: An on-line partial evaluation method is provided to improve performance of an object code which a compiler automatically generated by a compiler automatic generation system generates by receiving a program represented as an action semantic structure, and by automatically converting the program into an efficient program having an identical semantic. CONSTITUTION: An action extender generator(101) generates an action extender(102) which extends a source program to an action program having an identical semantic by means of an action notation. The extender(102) generated extends the source program to the action program. An action compiler(104) compiles the action program as an object program. An action conversion is performed in the action converter(103). An efficient object code is obtained by compiling the action program converted.
