Abstract:
PURPOSE: A satellite communication system and a method thereof which supplies communication through location information are provided to allocate an allowable frequency band to a terminal by using location information of a terminal. CONSTITUTION: A location determination unit(220) determines whether a terminal is located within coverage of a service by using location information of the terminal. A band determination unit(240) determines an allowable frequency band according to the location of the determined terminal. An Information generation unit(250) generates channel allocation information based on the determined allowable frequency band. An information transmitting unit(260) transmits the generated channel allocation informatoin to the terminal.

위성 지상 겸용 통신 시스템의 간섭 제어를 위한 동적 자원 관리 장치 및 방법이 개시된다. 위성 지상 겸용 통신 시스템의 동적 자원 관리 장치는 위성 빔 및, 위성 빔과 동일한 주파수 대역이 설정된 무선 신호 간의 간섭 정보를 기초로 위성 빔의 주파수 대역 및 무선 신호의 주파수 대역을 결정하는 주파수 대역 결정부; 및 위성 빔의 주파수 대역에 대응하는 세기로 위성 빔을 출력하도록 위성망 우주국을 원격 제어하고, 무선 신호의 주파수 대역에 대응하는 세기로 무선 신호를 출력하도록 지상망 기지국을 원격 제어하는 원격 제어부를 포함할 수 있다.

Disclosed are a communication system to integrally provide satellite and terrestrial services and a power determining method. The communication system includes a frequency band allocating unit which allocates the same frequency band to a first satellite cell and at least one terrestrial cell which belongs to a second satellite cell which is adjacent to the first satellite cell; and a power determining unit which determines the transmission power of the first satellite cell and the transmission power of the terrestrial cell based on the interference between the first satellite cell and the terrestrial cell generated according to the allocated frequency band. Abstract:
PURPOSE: An NGSO(Non Geostationary Satellite Orbit) communication apparatus for extending operation time and reducing the number of satellites using an ATC, the ATC and an operating method thereof are provided to extend a service zone and operation time for one satellite using ATC(Ancillary Terrestrial Component)s. CONSTITUTION: If data relay between a satellite mobile earth station and a satellite is requested, a determining unit(301) determines whether to receive a service from the satellite. If it is impossible to receive the service from the satellite, a search unit(303) searches another ATC. A communication unit(305) transceives data between the satellite mobile earth station and the satellite through another ATC which can receive the service from the satellite.

복수의 빔을 포함하는 그룹 단위로 다중빔을 이용한 위성 통신을 하는 시스템에서, 그룹별로 각 빔의 데이터 전송 요구량을 판별하고, 판별된 결과를 토대로 다른 빔에 비하여 데이터 전송 요구량이 많은 빔에 대하여 트래픽 자원을 보다 많이 할당하여, 그룹내의 각 빔로 전송되는 데이터 트래픽을 적응적으로 제어한다.

PURPOSE: An apparatus for allocating traffic resources in a multi-beam satellite communication system is provided to efficiently control data traffic resources by allocating residual traffic resources to a beam with lots of traffic. CONSTITUTION: A traffic resource information collection unit(110) collects the traffic resource request information to each cell included in one group. A traffic resource optimum management unit(120) calculates data traffic resource request amount using a traffic resource request information per each traffic cell. A resource allocating unit(130) assigns the traffic resources to each beam unit by the calculated traffic resources amount. The traffic resource is one of time, or frequency resources.
