Abstract: PURPOSE: A maximum repetitive decoding number adaptive setting apparatus of an LDPC(Low Density Parity Check) decoding apparatus by SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio) estimation and method thereof, and a LDPC decoding method and apparatus including the same are provided, which reduces calculation and delay efficiently by reducing an average repetitive decoding number. CONSTITUTION: According to the maximum repetitive decoding number adaptive setting apparatus decoding a signal encoded by LDPC(Low Density Parity Check), a signal to noise ration estimation part(110) estimates a signal to noise ratio corresponding to the received LDPC encoding signal, and a maximum repetitive decoding number setting part(130) sets a maximum repetitive decoding number corresponding to the estimated signal to noise ratio adaptively on the basis of a storing part where the maximum repetitive decoding number corresponding to a random signal to noise ratio is stored.
