PURPOSE: A QoS(Quality of Service) management method for multimedia synchronization is provided to secure the minimum QoS by changing weight values with respect to multimedia objects. CONSTITUTION: Weight values are provided to multimedia objects. State maintenance parameters(21a-23c) about the multimedia objects are defined, and default values are provided to the state maintenance parameters(21a-23c). It is judged whether a process of a certain object is stopped by backtracking. If the process of the certain object is stopped by the backtracking, a state maintenance parameter value about the object is decreased. It is judged whether the state maintenance parameter value of the object is 0. If the state maintenance parameter value of the object is 0, an ignition value of a corresponding transition function of the object is increased twice. The state maintenance parameter and the weight value of the object are compulsorily increased. The object waits for a next transition until the object is perfectly transmitted.

PURPOSE: A method for operating a real-time database in a non-volatile memory of a mobile communication terminal is provided to improve operation speed of the database, and prevent durability of the memory from being shortened. CONSTITUTION: Data are stored and searched in a fixed allocation area(12) and a dynamic allocation area(13). An NVIT(Non-Volatile Information Table)(16) menages essential information, and includes an IPT(Item Pointer Table)(17) and a CTS(Cell Status Table)(18). The CTS(18) is accessed directly when the non-volatile memory is managed. The CTS(18) for managing the memory of an EEPROM includes a status table that manages a memory status of the EEPROM. A stack dial item(15) which varies frequently is stored in the dynamic allocation table. A security area(14) in the EEPROM can be accessed only by a special operation.

CONSTITUTION: Prefix information composed as a network address and valid length information is received(710). A class is judged using a length of the prefix to be retrieved(720). It moves to an index tree corresponding to the class, and the first data corresponding to the class are received(730). The received first data are compared with one byte of the network address(740). It moves to a next node, a key value is read, and a next one byte value of the prefix is read(750). It is judged whether a data node of a last destination address path is searched(760). If the data node of the last destination address path is searched, an external interface path value corresponding to the data node is outputted(770).
