Abstract: A method and an apparatus for providing vehicle accident information are provided to analyze an accident accurately by obtaining accident related information by proving the vehicle travelling information and the peripheral vehicle information. A vehicle accident information providing device(100) includes a traveling information collection unit, a vehicle information collecting unit, a communication unit, and a storage unit. The storage unit(150) stores information for analyzing an accident situation. The travelling information collecting unit collects the traveling information of the vehicle and stores the travelling information of the vehicle in the storage unit when the traffic accident of the vehicle occurs. The vehicle information collecting unit(120) collects the information of a peripheral vehicle by communicating with the peripheral vehicle and the stores the collected information in the storage unit when the traffic accident of the vehicle occurs. The communication unit(140) includes a vehicle to infrastructure communication module, a vehicle to vehicle communication module, and a mobile communication module.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A distributed geographic information processing component system and method are provided to construct a GIS(Geographic Information System) with components of standard interfaces for accessing or using geographic data stored at a heterogeneous database by a single method so that the system is reusable and interoperable. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises an application program(310), an OLE/COM(Object Linking and Embedding/Component Object Model) interface(320), a map base component(330), an extended OLE/DB(Object Linking and Embedding/Database) interface(340), and a data provider component(350). The application program(310) is necessary to integrate heterogeneous GIS or acquire geographic data from other GIS. The PLE/COM interface(320) exposes externally functions owned by a component. The extended OLE/DB interface(340) is made by adding a GIS interface to the Microsoft OLE/DB interface. Abstract: PURPOSE: A body modeling method for character animation is provided to generate a body model efficiently and easily by automatically combining the skeleton data for operation control and the skin data for the expression of outward appearance. CONSTITUTION: To a body skeleton data(1), a body kin data(2) made out by general three-dimensional modeling tool is coupled. A skin-skeleton coupling algorithm to make a body model appropriate for an animation is carried out through a preprocessing step(11) configuring the skin data into a data available for the algorithm, a segmentation step(12) executing coordinates compensation and the calculation of a bounding box by each factor and a binding step(13) connecting the skin data relevant to each articulation. Abstract: 본 발명은 캐릭터 애니메이션을 위한 인체의 모델링 방법에 관한 것이다.
본 발명은 링크와 조인트로 구성되는 다관절 구조의 골격 데이터와, 3차원 폴리건 모델로 구성되는 피부 데이터를 알고리즘에서 사용할 수 있는 형태의 데이터로 구성하는 전처리 과정을 수행하는 제 1 단계와; 상기 제 1 단계로부터 입력되는 두 종류의 데이터를 한 좌표계에 맞추기 위한 좌표 보정과 각 관절 및 피부 데이터를 요소별로 구분하고 각 요소별 바운딩 박스를 계산하는 세그멘테이션 과정을 수행하는 제 2 단계와; 상기 제 1 및 제 2 단계를 통하여 준비된 피부 데이터 및 골격 데이터의 각 요소들을 검사하여 각 관절에 해당하는 피부 데이터를 찾아서 연결하는 바인딩 과정을 수행하는 제 3 단계와; 상기 제 1, 제 2 및 제 3 단계들의 수행 결과로 피부와 골격이 접합된 인체 모델을 생성하는 제 4 단계를 포함하여 이루어지며, 인간의 움직임을 연속적으로 재현하는 캐릭터 애니메이션에서 동작의 대상이 되는 물체 즉, 인체의 모델링을 위해서 인체의 골격 구조 데이터와 피부 구조 데이터를 자동으로 접합할 수 있는 캐릭터 애니메이션을 위한 인체의 모델링 방법을 제시하고자 한다.
