Abstract: A method for automatically migrating working data and an apparatus therefor are provided to automatically migrate data like setup data, processed in a previous working unit, to the next working unit to which a user has moved though the user moves to plural working units while performing tasks which the user has to continuously treat. A method for automatically migrating working data comprises the following several steps. An automatic migrator connected to a working unit checks whether a user makes access to or gets out of the working unit(S301). If the user gets out of the working unit, the automatic migrator collects user's working data treated in the working unit and stores the collected working data(S302). The automatic migrator provides information on a position, where the user's working data is stored, to other connected automatic migrator(S303). If the user makes access to the working unit, the automatic migrator connected to the working unit searches for the information on the position where the user's working data is stored(S304,S305). The automatic migrator receives the user's working data related to the tasks which the user has treated in the previous working unit(S306).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A device and a method for managing a network fault by communication between multi-agents are provided to arrange an MACP(Multi-Agent Communication Protocol) sharing fault causes and restoration methods between agents and information managed by each agent through a mediator system, so that each agent itself can detect and restore a fault. CONSTITUTION: A manager system(10) includes a client(11) and a server(13). The client(11) provides a user interface. In the server(13), a message processing module(19) processes messages transmitted from a mediator system(20) and management request messages of a manager delivered from the mediator system(20). A collecting module(15) collects the messages periodically. An analyzing module(16) analyzes and processes information collected by the collecting module(15). And a database(17) converts the collected information into statistical information and stores the converted information. The mediator system(20) includes a client(21) and a server(23). The client(21) provides an interface for network monitoring. In the server(23), a message processing module(29) classifies messages from agents(30,40). A mediating module(28) accepts a message requiring mediation from the message processing module(29), and analyzes the message to request fault diagnosis to a corresponding agent. A collecting module(25) collects the messages from the agents(30,40). An analyzing module(26) analyzes and processes the information collected by the collecting module(25). And a database(27) converts the collected information into statistical information and stores the converted information. In the agents(30,40), collecting modules(35,45) collect current state information of the agents(30,40). Rule storing parts(37,47) diagnose generated faults and store restoration rules. Deductive engines(38,48) diagnose faults of the agents(30,40) and perform deduction for restoring the faults. And message processing modules(39,49) transmit information on the fault diagnosis and restoration performed in the agents(30,40) to the mediator system(20).
