Abstract:
Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for providing an N-screen service based on cloud computing. The existing SONF incurs load and costs when discovering, generating and maintaining services. Meanwhile, the apparatus and the method provided herein enable to reduce the costs by using cloud computing capabilities, and also to provide more various services, thereby enhancing a user′s service satisfaction. By using this, it is possible to serve as an alternative to an N-screen service platform architecture, and by further adopting service capabilities of ITU-T and future network features, it is possible to improve service performance and satisfaction.

IPTV 서비스 오버레이 네트워크를 이용한 개인 M2M 서비스 제공 방법과 그를 위한 시스템 및 장치를 개시한다. 개인 M2M(Machine to Machine) 요청 신호를 전송하고, 그에 대응하는 개인 M2M 응답 신호를 수신하는 IPTV 홈 네트워크 장치; 상기 개인 M2M 요청 신호를 수신한 경우 상기 IPTV 홈 네트워크 장치로부터 사용자 프로파일(Profile) 정보를 수신하고, 상기 사용자 프로파일 정보에 근거한 컨텐츠 리스트를 생성한 후 상기 개인 M2M 응답 신호에 상기 컨텐츠 리스트를 포함하여 상기 IPTV 홈 네트워크 장치로 전송하는 IPTV 서비스 오버레이 장치; 및 상기 컨텐츠 리스트 중 선택된 컨텐츠에 대한 요청 신호를 수신하고, 상기 요청 신호에 대응하는 컨텐츠를 포함한 응답 신호를 상기 IPTV 홈 네트워크 장치로 전송하는 IPTV 컨텐츠 제공 장치를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 IPTV 서비스 오버레이 네트워크를 이용한 개인 M2M 서비스 시스템을 제공한다. 본 실시예에 의하면, IPTV 서비스 오버레이를 기반으로 가정의 댁내에 구축된 IPTV 홈 네트워크 장치를 이용하여 개인 M2M 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 효과가 있다.

PURPOSE: A system and a method for controlling service in an end to end virtual home network are provided to comprises a virtual home network between a home network and other home network and manage a service, thereby accurately controlling the home network service. According to characteristic and environment of the terminal, a home network resource policy server(300) performs reservation, revision and termination command of resource on the home network. PURPOSE: An IPTV service overlay network control device and a method thereof are provided to quickly check similar home channels according to the content watching by an IPTV user. CONSTITUTION: A home IPTV broadcasting registration unit(351) generates a home channel information of registered home channels. A home IPTV EPG(Electronic Program Guide) managing unit(353) receives the home channel information and a home channel usage information of a IPTV terminal(42) on the registered home channels. The home IPTV EPG managing unit determines a home channel preference ranking of the IPTV terminal. The home IPTV EPG managing unit generates a home channel EPG.
