Abstract: PURPOSE: A vertical deposit sampler is provided to accurately analyze the physical and chemical properties of soil by gathering soil sample without a structural change. CONSTITUTION: A vertical deposit sampler comprises a first outer pipe(200), a second outer pipe(100), and a soil gathering pipe. A rotary blade(210) is formed on the inner surface of the first outer pipe. The second outer pipe is rotated by a connection member(120) connected to a bearing(110), and the first outer pipe is vertically transferred to the inside soil. The soil gathering pipe is inserted into the second outer pipe and gathers soil.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A horizontal soil sampler is provided to prevent a disturbance of soil when collecting sample on a vertical section of topography and to accurately analyze a physical chemical structure of soil on a perpendicular section by maintaining the horizontality of soil sampling. CONSTITUTION: A horizontal soil sampler(1) includes one or more fixing units(100), a frame(200), and a guide unit. The fixing unit is inserted into soil on a perpendicular section plane(10). The hollow frame is combined with the fixing unit. The guide part is positioned in the hollow part of the frame, installed separately, paralleled with the fixing unit, in a longitudinal direction and combined with a connection unit by a connection member(500).

Abstract: A sediment monitoring apparatus of the present invention comprises: a sediment retriever for making sediments be collected inside of an internal space; an identifier which is detachably combined to one side of the sediment retriever for identifying a location of the sediment retriever in a sediment monitoring site inside the water; a buoy which is detachably combined to one side of the sediment retriever for identifying a location of the sediment retriever in a sediment monitoring site outside the water; an auxiliary anchor which is detachably combined to one side of the sediment retriever for making the sediment retriever not be pushed away by water which has a certain flow speed in a sediment monitoring site inside the water; and a retrieval box cover for covering an upper aperture of the sediment retriever. According to the present invention, the direction of sedimentation, the amount of sedimentation and et cetera according to the direction of flow of sediments which are flown along the bottom surface can be accurately understood, the sediments can be easily retrieved without leaking the sediments outside of a monitoring apparatus when retrieving the sediments, and the rapid assembly and disassembly of the sediment retriever is possible because the sediment retriever can be easily identified while deployed on the bottom surface of the site.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a horizontal soil stratum sampling device capable of easily collecting and discharging a horizontal soil stratum. Abstract: The present invention relates to an optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) age dating method for a sediment core whose cut surface is exposed to light, which can perform OSL age dating, by dividing particles of a sediment core sample into non-homogeneous soil and sandy soil according to the size in order to remove the core sample exposed to light and by performing a single aliquot regenerative dose through quartz separation, in order to perform OSL age dating using the sediment core sample already exposed to light due to cutting. The OSL age dating method comprises as follows: a first step which prepares a sediment core sample whose cut surface is exposed to light; a second step which classifies the sediment core sample into non-homogeneous soil and sandy soil according to the particle size; a third step which removes part of the sediment core sample to a fixed depth from the cut surface based on the non-homogeneous soil and sandy soil classified in the second step; a fourth step which separates quartz from the sediment core sample whose part is removed to the fixed depth from the cut surface; and a fifth step which performs age dating of the separated quartz. The fifth step measures the sediment age of the quartz as a single aliquot regenerative dose of the OSL age dating method.
