Abstract: PURPOSE: A testing device for the performance evaluation of fire extinguishing equipment for railway vehicles is provided to easily evaluate the performance of fire extinguishing equipment in railway vehicles. CONSTITUTION: A testing device for the performance evaluation of fire extinguishing equipment for railway vehicles includes a fire sensor, a fire extinguishing unit, a test room(100), a monitoring room(200), a testing material storing room(300), and a fire extinguishing water supplying room(400). The fire extinguishing unit sprays fire extinguishing water. The testing room is equipped with the fire extinguishing unit. The monitoring room monitors and controls the fire extinguishing unit. The testing material storing room stores testing materials. Variable partitions define the internal spaces of the testing room.
