    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for presenting the texture of cloth and its apparatus are provided, to present the visual and tactile texture of the product in developing virtually. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of reproducing the product designed by using a computer; applying the reproduced product to a virtual model; imaging the virtual model on screen to present the texture of the product visually; generating the coordinate data according to the surface characteristics, the smoothness and heat conductivity of the cloth applied to the product; flowing a piezoelectric actuator equipped with a probe pin according to the generated coordinate data; and moving the iron wires of surface to the axis direction by using the probe pin of the piezoelectric actuator which is moved to the target coordinate, to form the surface of virtual cloth, thereby to present the tactile texture. The apparatus comprises a surface generation part(30) composed of iron wires(31); a piezoelectric actuator equipped with a probe pin; an X-Y actuator which moves the piezoelectric actuator to the X-Y direction; and a tactile texture presenter which moves the piezoelectric actuator to the Z direction.

    Abstract: The small type load cell includes a diaframe sensing part (1), a body (2), and a load button (4). If the external force were applied to the load button, the electrical output corresponding to the diaframe strain guage could be detected. The base plate is fastened to the body for excluding the environment effect, such as the humidity and the dust, of the strain guage. The special stainless steel is used as the material of sensing part for applying to the industrial field. This load cell is useful for measuring the force distribution of aircraft, automobile and tire.
