Abstract: PURPOSE: A pseudo auditory sense transmission apparatus using a thermo element and method thereof are provided to control the adaptation time of a skin by controlling the connection time of a thermo element. CONSTITUTION: A thermo element(160) changes or maintains temperature based on the temperature information of a sound. A thermo element selection unit(150) selectively upgrades one or more thermo elements by connecting with the thermo elements. A motor(140) is combined with the one side of the thermo element selection unit in order to operate the thermo element selection unit to one direction. A controller(130) transmits operation information to the motor by transmitting temperature change information corresponding to a pseudo auditory sense based on the temperature information of the sound.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for presenting the texture of cloth and its apparatus are provided, to present the visual and tactile texture of the product in developing virtually. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of reproducing the product designed by using a computer; applying the reproduced product to a virtual model; imaging the virtual model on screen to present the texture of the product visually; generating the coordinate data according to the surface characteristics, the smoothness and heat conductivity of the cloth applied to the product; flowing a piezoelectric actuator equipped with a probe pin according to the generated coordinate data; and moving the iron wires of surface to the axis direction by using the probe pin of the piezoelectric actuator which is moved to the target coordinate, to form the surface of virtual cloth, thereby to present the tactile texture. The apparatus comprises a surface generation part(30) composed of iron wires(31); a piezoelectric actuator equipped with a probe pin; an X-Y actuator which moves the piezoelectric actuator to the X-Y direction; and a tactile texture presenter which moves the piezoelectric actuator to the Z direction.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A similar auditory sense transmission apparatus and method using a spectrum modulation are provided to convert a high frequency among audio frequencies to be included in a perceivable frequency. CONSTITUTION: An acoustic sensing unit(210) senses an acoustic signal(100). A spectral converting unit(220) changes the sound wave signal into a spectral signal. A spectral compression unit(230) compresses the spectral signal to a perceivable frequency. A spectral dividing unit(240) partitions the perceivable frequency into one or more frequency domains. One or more modulation signal output units(250) are prepared to correspond to one or more frequency domains and outputs one or more frequency domains with vibration(300).

Abstract: 본 발명은 질감제시방법 및 장치에 관한 것으로, 특히 디자이너가 설계한 신제품을 컴퓨터로 재현하고 이를 가상모델에게 입혀서 스크린에 투영하여 개발중인 제품에 대한 시각질감을 제시하고, 또한 신제품에 적용될 직물의 표면특성, 부드러움의 정도 및 열전달율 데이터에 따라 촉각질감제시기를 구동하여 개발중인 제품에 대한 촉각질감을 제시하므로, 소비자는 개발중인 제품의 가상질감을 시각과 촉각을 통해 체험할 수 있다. 따라서, 소비자의 의견을 개발중인 제품에 적극 반영할 수 있으므로 성공 가능성이 높은 제품을 개발할 수 있으며, 아울러 연구개발에 필요한 인력과 시간 및 경비를 절감할 수 있다.
