    Abstract: A microfluidic chip for electroporation is provided to prevent the generation of bubble, thermal shock and chemical contamination despite a high current density and a strong electric field. A microfluidic chip for electroporation comprises an entrance(301) which introduce a sample solution; a microchannel(302) which provides the moving pathway of the introduced sample solution; at least one exit(303) for the sample passed through the microchannel; a pair of polyelectrolyte salt bridges(304a, 304b) which are connected so as to correspond to the microchannel at the middle part of the microchannel; a pair of reservoirs(305a, 305b) which are connected with the pair of polyelectrolyte salt bridges, respectively, and accommodate an electrode(306a, 306b) and a standard electrolyte solution(307a, 307b), respectively; and a DC power(400) source which is connected with the electrode arranged at the pair of reservoirs.
