Abstract: Disclosed is a frequency converter for radio frequency to improve the linearity of the frequency converter by resolving a glitch phenomenon represented on an output of the frequency converter. The disclosed frequency converter for the radio frequency comprises: a single balanced down-frequency converter and a bi-balanced down-frequency converter switching received high frequency in accordance with the local oscillation signal to convert the high frequency to a intermediate frequency signal per a channel; a single balanced up-frequency converter and a bi-balanced up-frequency converter switching the input intermediate frequency in accordance with the local oscillation signal to convert the intermediate frequency to the high frequency signal; and a glitch removal to remove a glitch which is occurred when switching the single balanced down-frequency converter, the bi-balanced down-frequency converter, the single balanced up-frequency converter, and the bi-balanced up-frequency converter.
