Abstract: PURPOSE: A permeable submerged breakwater block including a fish habitat function is provided to prevent secondary erosion by largely reducing influence of reflected waves applied to the submerged breakwater block and stably maintain the installation state of the submerged breakwater block. CONSTITUTION: A permeable submerged breakwater block including a fish habitat function comprises an enclosed main body(10), a plurality of penetration holes(21,22), a contact area extension plate(30), and a movement preventing and fixing unit. The enclosed main body includes a trapezoidal shape to receive small pressure due to tide and wave and is formed with concrete or a steel plate. The penetration holes are formed at predetermined intervals on the front surface and rear surface of the main body and enable fishes, fluids , and soil to enter the inside of the main body. The contact area extension plate integrally protrudes from the lower surface of the front and read surface and increases contact areas with the seabed ground. The movement preventing and fixing unit protrudes from the front and rear surface towards the lower part and prevents the submerged breakwater block from being pushed by the tide and the waves.
