Abstract: The glass fiber reinforced polypropylene sheet for stamping having polypropylene resin as the matrix resin is prepared by coating the water soluble ethylene based ionomer solution onto the surface of the glass fiber. Pref. the glass fiber is one or more of a glass single fiber, glass long fiber, glass fiber mat, glass fiber fabric or mica. In the process, the physical and chemical bonding layer is formed between the glass fiber and polypropylene resin matrix, then the obtd. glass fiber reinforced polypropylene sheet has a good molding property, tensile strength and impact resistance.
