Abstract: PURPOSE: A method of recovering oil components from oil sand is provided to greatly enhance bitumen recovery from oil sand by simultaneously injecting steam and inorganic additives to the oil sand. CONSTITUTION: A method of recovering oil components from oil sand is as follows. When SAGD technology is applied to recover oil components from oil sand, steam and inorganic additives of a nano class are simultaneously injected into the oil sand. Heat due to steam is rapidly transferred to the oil components from the oil sand through the inorganic additive. The interfacial tension between the oil and the water becomes weak by the inorganic additive.
