Abstract: 본 발명은 헥사플루오로프로필렌옥사이드의 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 헥사플루오로프로필렌(HFP)이 포함된 유기상과 산화제가 포함된 수용액상을 상전이 촉매하에서 액체-액체 계면 반응을 수행함에 있어, 상기 상전이 촉매와 함께 불소계 계면활성제를 첨가하여 유기상과 수용액상의 계면에서의 반응면적을 넓혀 반응성을 향상시킴으로써 기존의 방법에 비해 헥사플루오로프로필렌옥사이드의 전환율을 월등하게 향상시킬 뿐만 아니라 반응초기의 발열반응으로 인한 온도 상승효과를 줄임으로 반응온도를 일정하게 유지시키는 효과를 가진 헥사플루오로프로필렌옥사이드의 제조방법에 관한 것이다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for preparing dichloroiodoperfluorobutane by using a low temperature radical initiator is provided, to improve the stability of process, to reduce the cost of apparatus and to enhance conversion rate and yield. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the step of mixing dichloroiodoperfluoroethane and tetrafluoroethylene with a low temperature radical initiator to prepare dichloroiodoperfluorobutane by telomerization, wherein the radical initiator has a half life of 1-15 hours at a temperature of -1- deg.C or less and the telomerization is carried out at a temperature of 35-80 deg.C and a pressure of 7-10 atom. Preferably the low temperature radical initiator is selected from the group consisting of diisopropyl peroxydicarbonate, t-butyl peroxypivalate and t-butyl peroxy-2-ethylhexanoate.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A process for preparing hexafluoropropylene oxide is provided, thereby significantly improving conversion rate of hexafluoropropylene oxide by increasing the reaction area in the interface between the organic phase and water-soluble phase, and reducing the temperature increase at an early stage of the reaction to maintain the constant reaction temperature. CONSTITUTION: The process for preparing hexafluoropropylene oxide comprises the steps of: liquid-liquid interface reacting the organic phase containing hexafluoropropylene(HFP) with the water-soluble phase containing an oxidizing agent in the presence of phase transition catalyst and 0.001 to 0.01 mole% of fluorine surfactant of formula (I), CnF2n=1C2H4O(C2H4O)mH, wherein m is mole number of ethylene oxide, 6 and 12; and n is an integer of 4 to 12; and the mole ratio of organic phase and water-soluble phase is 1:2 to 1:7.
