Abstract: PURPOSE: A polymer electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery is provided to ensure high ion conductivity and excellent electrochemical safety, and to improve mechanical and electrical properties of a lithium secondary battery. CONSTITUTION: A polymer electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery comprises a polymer, lithium salt, plasticizer and organic solvent. The polymer is a mixture of a polar polymer and an oxide-based polymer. The polar polymer is at least one selected from the group consisting of poly(methyl methacrylate), poly(vinylidene fluoride) and poly(vinyl chloride)].
