    Abstract: PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a macrocyclic imide oligomer is provided to restrain the generation of a linear imide oligomer which is a by-product and to improve the yield of the macrocyclic imide oligomer. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a macrocyclic imide oligomer comprises: a step of reacting an acid dianhydride compound and a diamine compound in a condition maintaining the concentration of a reactant to 0.1-0.5M to manufacture an amic acid oligomer which contains 2-10 repeating units formed of diamine-acid dianhydride; and a step of manufacturing the amic acid oligomer with acetic acid or acetic acid dianhydride to manufacture the macrocyclic imide oligomer. The reaction of the amic acid oligomer is conducted at 20-90 deg. C.
