Abstract: PURPOSE: An anion exchange membrane is provided to ensure excellent moisture absorption, hydrogen ion conductivity, and a diameter of a hydrocarbon-based nanomaterial larger than that of existing hydrocarbon-based nanomaterial. CONSTITUTION: An anion exchange membrane has an imidazolium salt ionic liquid. A method for preparing the anion exchange membrane comprises the steps of: dipping anion exchange membranes and vinyl-based monomer with an epoxy group and performing radiation to graft a vinyl-based monomer with an epoxy group on the surface of the hydrocarbon-based nanomaterial; reacting the hydrocarbon-based nanomaterial grafted with the vinyl-based monomer in an imidazole-based compound to introduce imidazolium on the hydrocarbon-based nanomaterial; and reacting the imidazolium-introduced hydrocarbon-based nanomaterial and halo-C1~C4 alkane compound in a solvent to prepare a hydrocarbon-based nanomaterial film having the imidazolium salt ionic liquid.
