Abstract: A structure for installing a door beam in a vehicle is provided to improve the safety of passenger by dispersing impact force added to the door beam to the vehicle body without enlarging the size of the door beam. A structure for installing a door beam in a vehicle is composed of a hinge bracket(23) which is mounted to one side of a door and is connected to a hinge of a vehicle body, a door beam(28) whose one side is combined to the hinge bracket, and a latch reinforcement(26) which is mounted on the opposite side of the door and protect a door latch(25). The one side of the door beam is combined to a hinge beam support(24). The opposite side of the door beam is combined to a latch beam support(27).

Abstract: A method for installing a brake pedal for a vehicle is provided to reduce injury to an ankle and a knee of occupant even when a booster and a dashboard are pushed into the vehicle by reducing a length of an actuating rod. A method for installing a brake pedal for a vehicle comprises the step of joining an upper end of a pedal arm(110) to a cowl bracket(300) through a first hinge pin(200). A foot-plate(120) is attached at a lower portion of the pedal arm. An operating rod(400) is hinged to an upper middle portion of the pedal arm to operate a booster(500). The actuating rod is divided into a first rod(410) having a slide groove installed therein and a second rod(420) having a slide stud for sliding along the slide groove. A connecting key is installed by passing through the slide stud and the slide groove. The connecting key is connected at an upper portion thereof to a lower end of a wire, which is connected at an upper end thereof to an impact transmitting apparatus.
