Abstract: PURPOSE: A fender for a vehicle and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce the assembly process and weight of the fender by forming the parts out of the same materials in one body. CONSTITUTION: A fender for a vehicle comprises a fender part(110), an insulator part(120), and a mounting bracket(130). The fender part is arranged in two sides of a bumper in order to protect the side edge of the vehicle body. The insulator part in which an insulator sound-absorbing material is embedded is formed integrally on one side of the fender part and arranged close to a side outer panel(300) of the vehicle body. The mounting bracket is installed on one side of the insulator part and connected to the side outer panel. The fender part, the insulator part, and the mounting bracket are formed of the same material in one body.

Abstract: A fender cover structure in a vehicle is provided to allow the fender panel and a fender apron inner panel to be manufactured using a small number of parts at a low cost through eliminating an additional mounting bracket. A fender cover(10) structure in a vehicle comprises a first flange(10b) coupled to the fender panel, a second flange(10c) coupled to a fender apron inner panel, a vertical wall portion(10a) integrally connecting the first and second flanges. The vertical wall portion is provided at the outer peripheral surface thereof with a plurality of ribs(11) prepared in the shape of 'X'. The first flange is horizontally bent from the top edge of the vertical wall portion and then vertically extended. The second flange is horizontally bent from the bottom edge of the vertical wall portion. The ribs are rested on an upper surface of the fender apron inner panel.
