Abstract: PURPOSE: An end plate for a fuel cell stack is provided to ensure light weight and low heat loss, to maintain uniform plane pressure, and to prevent leakage of fluid and the increase of intercell electric contact resistance. CONSTITUTION: An end plate for a sandwich type fuel cell stack comprises a side(10) made of fiber-reinforcing composite materials and maintains a plane after tightening by applying curvature to the side. The side is manufactured by the steps of: symmetrically laminating reinforced fiber within the composite; and molding the laminate by any one method selected from vacuum bag molding, pressure molding and resin transfer molding.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An EGR system which prevents the increase of nitrogen oxide using an air-cooled EGR cooler and a control method are provided to make a flow path of the EGR gas simple by removing a bypass valve. CONSTITUTION: The temperature is measured by an air cooling type EGR(air-cooled exhaust gas recirculation) cooler which is connected with a water-cooling type EGR cooler(S10) at right angle. The operation of a heater mounted on the air cooling type EGR cooler is checked(S20). When the heater is on, and the temperature is higher than a first preset temperature, the heater is turned off(S32). If the heater is determined as the off, or the temperature is lower than a second preset temperature(S40), the heater is turned on(S42).
