Abstract: 본 발명은, 내부에 공간이 형성된 쉘의 전후방향에서 연소가스가 출입하는 파이프들이 결합되는 차량용 머플러에 있어서, 상하로 분할된 하측쉘과 상측쉘이 서로 탈착가능하게 결합된 쉘;과 내부를 구획하도록 상기 쉘에 장착되며 파이프가 관통되도록 장착홀이 타공된 판 형상의 배플;을 포함하고, 상기 배플은 쉘에서 탈거 가능하며, 상기 파이프들은 배플에서 분리가능하게 결합된 것을 특징으로 한다.
상기와 같은 구성의 본 발명은 쉘과 배플 및 파이프를 각각 분리할 수 있으므로 파손된 부품만 부분적으로 교환할 수 있는 효과가 있다. 그리고, 배플의 위치를 조절한 후 고정시킬 수 있는 구조이므로 사용자가 원하는 배기음을 직접 튜닝할 수 있는 효과가 있다.-

Abstract: PURPOSE: A vehicle muffler is provided to enhance durability since effective protection from thermal damage to a vehicle enables through enhancement of insulating performance. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle muffler comprises a plurality of baffles(21~23), an exhaust-gas inlet pipe(30), and an exhaust-gas outlet pipe(40). The baffles are fixed in a muffler housing at regular intervals in the length direction. The input of the inlet pipe is connected to the exhaust pipe through the front of the muffler housing. The output of the inlet pipe is fixed in the muffler housing. The input of the outlet pipe is installed in a chamber divided by the baffles to be connected to the output of the inlet pipe. The output of the outlet pipe is protruded to the outside of the muffler housing through the rear of the muffler housing.
