Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for improving steering feeling during driving in neutral. The objective of the present invention is to provide a method for improving steering feeling of a driver, as well as to prevent a steering wheel from becoming heavy and avoiding the occurrence of steering kickback, during an eco-roll operation for improving vehicle fuel efficiency. In order to achieve the above-mentioned objective, the present invention provides the method for improving steering feeling during driving in neutral at an eco-roll mode, including the steps of determining whether an eco-roll operation condition is satisfied in brake-off and an accelerator pedal-off states, wherein the eco-roll operation condition includes a condition that a current vehicle velocity is equal to or more than a reference vehicle velocity; if the eco-roll operation condition is satisfied, changing the gear state of a transmission into a neutral state and controlling the number of rotation times of an engine with the number of idling rotation times to enter the eco-roll mode; and controlling the operation of an emergency steering device to assist steering force according to the steering input of a driver′s steering wheel operation during driving in neutral at the eco-roll mode.
