Abstract: An SOI update system includes an SOI database storing registration SOI data which is SOI data mapped with geographical information and non-geographical information; a data input module inputting new SOI data mapped with the geographical information and the non-geographical information; a geographical information similarity determining module confirming the space of the new SOI data when one or more registration SOI data having the geographical information, which is similar to or the same as the new SOI data, exist by comparing the geographical information of the registration SOI data to the geographical information of the new SOI data; a non-geographical information similarity determining module determining similarity between the non-geographical information of the new SOI data and the non-geographical information of the registration SOI data having the geographical information which is the same as the geographical information of the new SOI data; and an SOI database registering module merging the registration SOI data of the SOI database with the geographical information or non-geographical information of the new SOI data in order to store them in the SOI database when the registration SOI data having the non-geographical information, which is similar to or the same as the new SOI data, exist as the result of the non-geographical information similarity determining module.
