    Abstract: 본 발명은 자동차의 차간 거리 제어방법에 관한 것으로, 레이더 신호를 검출하여 선행차가 있는가를 판단하고, 선행차가 있다고 판단되면 선행차가 거리제어 구간 내에 있는가를 판단하여 거리 제어 및 속도 제어를 위한 목표 가속도를 계산하여 제어 가속도를 결정한 후, 스로틀(Throttle) 제어 또는 브레이크 제어를 수행하면서 리턴이 이루어지는 과정으로 이루어진 자동차의 차간 거리 제어방법에 있어서, 선행차가 기 설정한 접근제한 구간 내에 있는가를 판단하는 제한판단단계; 및 상기 제한판단단계의 판단결과 접근제한 구간 내에 없는 경우에는 거리 제어를 위한 목표 가속도를 계산하고, 접근제한 구간 내에 있는 경우에는 접근제한 거리 이상을 유지하기 위한 최저 감가속도를 계산하여 스로틀 제어 또는 브레이크 제어를 수행하는 제어수행단계를 포함하여 이루어진 방법을 제공함으로써, 급감속에 따른 불필요한 감속 충격의 발생을 억제하여 승차감을 향상시키도록 하는 효과가 있다.

CONSTITUTION: A lane holding system of a vehicle is composed of a detecting apparatus having an image processing unit(102) processing image from a camera(100), and sensors detecting steering torque, steering angle, vehicle speed and operation of a turn signal lamp; motor and solenoid driving circuits(112,114) controlled by an electronic control unit according to signals from the detecting apparatus; and a driving unit controlled by the motor and solenoid driving circuits to apply vibration to a steering wheel. Accidents are prevented by warning the deviation of the vehicle from the lane.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A distance control method between vehicles is provided to prevent lowering of driving experience by performing throttle control during auto-cruising with setting the distance control range to be more than the predetermined distance, and to improve safety by controlling the brake in suddenly decelerating the preceding vehicle. CONSTITUTION: The preceding vehicle is detected(S110) by detecting a radar signal(S100). The preceding vehicle is detected to be within the distance control range(S120), and a throttle control range, a brake control range or a sudden braking range is decided according to the distance(S130). Control is performed according to the detected range(S140,S150,S160). The throttle control is performed to keep the predetermined vehicle speed in placing the preceding vehicle not to be within the distance control range(S170). Driving experience is improved, and safe driving is performed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A steering actuator of an independent steer-by-wire system is provided to improve the performance of the driving actuator and to control steering accurately by generating driving force from an ultrasonic motor. CONSTITUTION: A ring gear(12) is fixed to a housing(11) fastened to a vehicle body, and an ultrasonic motor(13) is mounted in the ring gear. Planetary gears(15) are installed to a rotor(13b) of the ultrasonic motor, and used as a carrier. The planetary gear is engaged with a sun gear(16), and a worm gear(16a) is formed in the inner periphery of the sun gear. A rack(17a) is engaged with the worm gear, and formed in a steering rod(17). A tie rod is connected to the outer end of the housing of the steering rod. Steering is performed by driving force of the ultrasonic motor. The size and the weight of the ultrasonic motor are reduced, and reversion is restricted by the ultrasonic motor.
