Abstract: A modified crank tool of a variable geometry turbocharger and a method for compensating for linkage abrasion are provided to obtain constant power by compensating for reduction of engine power caused by variation in a rotation angle of a vane through abrasion of a linkage. A modified crank tool of a variable geometry turbocharger comprises a rack gear(13) formed at an actuator rod of an actuator. A pinion gear(14) is fixed to an internal pin(15) such that the pinion gear engages with the rack gear. A vertical movement of the actuator is transferred to a crank tool through the rack gear and the pinion gear. Since the pinion gear is fixed to the internal pin, the pinion gear is meshed with the rack gear. As the pinion gear rotates, the internal pin rotates, so that displacement of an opening and closing angle of a vane is determined.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A device for checking the generation of cracks of a cylinder head is provided to precisely check the existence or position of cracks of a cylinder head by measuring the rising of pressure of cooling water channels. Abstract: A variable geometry turbocharger equipped with a variable stopper is provided to control gap between a stopper and an actuator according to the driving area of an engine by changeably controlling a stroke of a stopper. A variable geometry turbocharger equipped with a variable stopper comprises a turbine assembly(1), and an actuator(4) and a stopper assembly(5). The turbine assembly comprises: a turbine in which exhaust gas flows and is compressed; and a vane diversifying a path volume to control ejected flow rate. The actuator is connected in a vane rod(2) in order to rotate a vane in the outside of the turbine assembly. The actuator controls the vane angle. The stopper assembly is connected in a stopper fastening part(3) formed outside the turbine assembly. The stopper assembly limits the stroke of the actuator.

Abstract: A swirl control valve device is provided to preventing failure of an engine and damage of a diesel particulate filter by instantaneously and forcibly releasing a twin gear connecting a motor gear with a shaft gear. A swirl control valve device comprises a swirl control valve, a motor gear(10), a shaft gear(50), a twin gear(30) and a shaft gear spring. The swirl control valve raises the combustion efficiency and reduces soot by adjusting flow of air supplied to a combustor. The shaft gear closes the swirl control valve by rotating a shaft on which the swirl control valve is mounted. The twin gear has one end connected with one side of the motor gear to transfer driving force of a motor to the shaft gear. The shaft gear spring returns the shaft gear in an open state. When swirl control valve is fixed in a closed state, a releasing member instantaneously and forcibly releases the twin gear that connects the motor gear with the shaft gear.
